Percutaneous Introducer Kit

The PCT is designed to place the OriGen ECMO catheter percutaneously to minimize the cut-down on the jugular vein during cannulation. The needles, guidewires, and introducers are all matched to the size catheter that you are using during the procedure. Percutaneous cannulation can reduce the need for post-ECMO wound treatment and often the site wound can be treated with a simple bandage instead of sutures.The PCT kits contain:

•  22 ga. needle

• 18 ga. IV catheter

• 24 ga. IV catheter

• 0.018" guidewire in coil sheath

• 0.035" guidewire in coil sheath

• Introducer tubes for each catheter
